Check/Cash registrations must pay at the event.  Workshop programs require check/cash registration payments prior to the event. Checks can be mailed to SMPS Nebraska, PO Box 390093, Omaha, NE 68139-0093.  When mailing check please include registration confirmation.

Please note the refund policy below. No-shows will receive an invoice after the event.  All invoices for no-shows or non-payment at the time of the event will include a $10 invoicing fee and will be due upon receipt.

All sales are final.  No refunds unless requested 3 business days prior to an event in writing or by email.  Refunds for workshops require notice 5 business days prior to the event in writing or by email.  There is a 15% cancellation fee for all refunds.  Credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations in lieu of refund.

Every architectural, engineering, contracting, and developer company has been facing challenges with the COVID-19 pandemic. This program is an interactive and dynamic opportunity to learn what firms are doing to succeed in these uncertain times. We’ll hear lessons learned, innovative ideas, and insights that will help us respond to client needs in the days, weeks, and months ahead. BONUS*** This will be an in-person program at Farris Engineering, where we will have box lunches in a socially-distanced setup. We will also provide a link to join virtually if you’re out of town or unavailable to attend in person.

Becky Costello, Assoc. IIDA, VP of Furniture Sales, AOI Becky has been with AOI Corporation for more than 20 years and has extensive design experience. She has provided a variety of clients with functional furniture solutions for spaces such as corporate office, public facilities, higher education spaces and medical institutions. She currently leads and manages the Furniture Sales Team at AOI, and is very involved in individual projects, where she relies on her experience and design skills to create innovative and collaborative spaces. Becky continues to maintain several long-term relationships with clients and interior design partners and is their “go-to” advisor for furniture in space.

Doug Duren, Vice President, JE Dunn Doug has more than 30 years of experience. His responsibilities include cultivating new clients and project opportunities in Nebraska, South Dakota and Western Iowa, as well as ensuring existing clients with unparalleled service, collaborative teams and creative solutions to their building needs. He also assists clients in evaluating which construction delivery methods and selection processes will best suit their needs. Prior to JE Dunn, Doug was a member of the Sr. Leadership Teams for DLR Group, Gallup Consulting, CSI – Berkshire Hathaway Insurance, and Mutual of Omaha. He enjoys sports of all kinds, especially fishing, hunting & golf. Doug and his wife, Ellen, have three grown children, a daughter-i- law and one grandson who all reside in Omaha.

Greg Kronaizl, PE, Executive Vice President, Farris Engineering Based in Omaha, Greg has over 45 years of experience related to industrial and district energy central plant systems and distribution. His experience focuses on design and modeling of district energy distribution systems for saturated and superheated steam, high temperature hot water (HTHW), chilled water and geothermal systems. Kronaizl is a graduate of South Dakota School of Mines & Technology with a degree in mechanical engineering. As project manager and team leader for the evaluation of project scope, timely completion of designs, and projects completed within allotted project funding sources and project schedule criteria.

T.J. Twit, Jr., CEO, President, OMNE Partners T.J. is leads OMNE Partners, an Omaha-based, full service real estate corporation offering brokerage services, property management, maintenance, construction management and general contracting services. He is responsible for the strategic vision and overall business development for the organization and has served in this capacity since 2016. He brings with him 15 years of industry and related experience. A native of Carroll, IA, T.J. earned a B.S in Marketing at Creighton University and is a graduate of the Omaha Chamber of Commerce’s Leadership Omaha program. T.J. previously served as a board member of Creighton University’s Young Alumni Board, as well as Children’s Hospital Foundation Board and currently sits on the boards of the MAHA Music Festival, Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce, YPO Nebraska and Creighton University's National Alumni Board. Additionally, T.J. is an Adjunct Professor in the Finance Department at Creighton University.
