PAYMENT POLICY
Your registration will cover attendance at the event at the location noted for that event. Please be sure to check in at the registration desk at the event. Check/Cash registrations must pay at the event.  Workshop programs require check/cash registration payments prior to the event. Checks can be mailed to SMPS Nebraska, PO Box 390093, Omaha, NE 68139-0093.  When mailing check please include registration confirmation.

Please note the refund policy below. No-shows will receive an invoice after the event.  All invoices for no-shows or non-payment at the time of the event will include a $10 invoicing fee and will be due upon receipt.

REFUND POLICY
All sales are final.  No refunds unless requested 3 business days prior to an event in writing or by email.  Refunds for workshops require notice 5 business days prior to the event in writing or by email.  There is a 15% cancellation fee for all refunds.  Credits may be issued to be used for future event registrations in lieu of refund.

It's time to stop viewing our marketing teams as administrative resources and bring them into the strategic direction of business development.  It's time to stop reactive efforts of seller/doers as the primary channel for business development and emphasis a proactive approach that is more than just a job well done. Join us for an informative and interactive discussion about aligning marketing and business development resources and strategies for firm success. Presented by Gabe Romero of Cordova Consulting.

Prior to starting Cordova, Gabe was the VP of Sales and Marketing for Phenomblue, where he grew revenue $1M in 12 months. Before that he was responsible for increasing revenue for a staffing firm by 900% over a seven year span.  He also spent more than fifteen years gaining business experience in both national and international sales management. Gabe’s experience includes managing business and operations for specific business units of up to 150 employees, including P&L reporting. He has worked with companies throughout the Midwest on staffing contingency plans, compensation plan design and resource planning for both immediate projects and long-term growth. His experience includes growing and coaching sales and marketing teams.

Gabe is currently on the University of Nebraska Alumni board and is actively involved in the community. Previous roles within the community include in Nebraska PeopleSoft User Group, One World Community Hospital, Nebraska CIO Forum Board, Iowa Western Community College Board, as well as completing Leadership Omaha and serving as a member of the Omaha Executive Club. Gabe holds an Executive Master's of Business from the University of Nebraska at Omaha and holds a Certified Personnel Consultant and a Certified Internet Recruiter certification. Gabe was awarded 40 Under 40 from the Midlands Business Journal as well as UNO’s Alumni Award for Excellence in Public Service.
