Committees


Communications Committee

Assist the Communications Director in promoting organizational meetings, speakers, and events through the press and other related organizations; develop a membership newsletter; work on web site committee; and work with programming to make sure the Calendar of Events is designed and distributed. Programs Committee

Assist the Program Director and work with President Elect to identify speakers; arrange meeting times, locations and menus; prepare flier/announcement of events and deliver to membership director two weeks prior to each event; make sure all other parties have information they need on speakers (such as the person who updates web site, etc.); and prepare/distribute organizational calendar-of-events. Membership Committee

Assist the Membership Director in maintaining/updating membership and potential membership list; actively recruit new members; track membership and renewals by contacting members; arrange and plan a membership recruitment event each year. Special Projects Committee

The Director-at-Large is assigned special projects. Assist the Director-at-Large in developing special events and CPSM study group. Please contact the chapter administrator if you are interested in participating on the Special Projects Committee, lsittenauer@cox.net.

Educational Committee

Assist the Education Chair and work with the Programs Director to plan and organize educational events of the Chapter that correspond to the six domains of practice considered to be most critical for a marketing professional: Marketing Research; Marketing Plan; Client and Business Development; SOQs/Proposals; Promotional Activity; and Information, Resource and Organizational Management. The Education Committee also oversees the certification exam to become a Certified Professional Services Marketer (CPSM).
